Here’s some extra info to help you get the most enjoyment from Toy Car: Is Toy Car compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch? Yes, Toy Car works on both types of device. You’ll need the latest firmware (which we recommend you use anyway). To make sure you have the latest firmware, connect your iPhone / iPod Touch to iTunes and click ‘Check for Update’. How do I control the Toy Car? Most features of Toy Car are activated by touching the relevant part of the car on the main screen (which has the top view of the car). However, the friction motor is activated by moving the device in the manner you would to rev up a real friction-powered toy car. Does Toy Car move the iPhone in any way? Toy Car is a ‘virtual’ toy. As such, there isn’t a real motor (just the sound of one) and no wheels. Unfortunately, your iPhone won’t be going anywhere under it’s own power :-) What are the features of Toy Car? - "Rev and Go" realistic 'friction motor' sound (just add wheels!) - Working horn, headlights, windshield wipers, turn signals, most with sound! Customizable colors and graphics. More to come in future updates! How do I customize Toy Car to match the colors of my car? Car customization is available from version 2.0 of Toy Car, available now (see here). If you haven’t updated yet, go to the Applications window in iTunes, and click ‘Check for Updates’. To customize your car, touch the rear license-plate on the top view of the car. You’ll then see a menu for customization. If your desired color combos (or other mod) isn’t available, let us know using the e-mail address at the end of this FAQ, and we’ll do our best to make sure it’s included in a future update. Will you be updating Toy Car with bug fixes and other new features? That’s our intent!
